When you hear the word research, what comes to mind?

Anyways…I’ve reflected a lot on how to put my own UX story out there, but I feel it is still incomplete. For now, here’s my basic profile:
I recently graduated from General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive Remote program. It was a 3 month bootcamp where my classmates and I took a dive into the principles of UX Design and the UX Design process. It was truly an experience to remember, and I was able to meet some great people (who also happen to be great researchers, designers and thinkers). As the class was ending, I decided to take on the task of creating a class profile, as a way to capture the thoughts of my classmates as they embark on their journeys beyond the class.
It finally happened. I had a terrible real world research experience. I knew that it was bound to occur at some point in my UX career, but I didn’t think it would happen this quickly.
I literally just finished my User Experience Design Immersive (UXDI for short) Remote Program at General Assembly on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 and here I am writing this article about a series of events that happened during the following week.
